Specialist staffs need to know and understand what is expected of them in order to maintain the e-portfolio system
Training and support for users to optimise the use of e-portfolios will be required regardless of which system is adopted
Most systems are web-based and therefore do not require specialist centre-based technical support. However, it should be noted that where virtual learning environment (VLE) or intranet-based systems are used for e-portfolio purposes, these will require in-house specialist support
